Accelerating its strategic development, PureCircle, Oak Brook, IL, has signed a memorandum of understanding with British Sugar Group Plc to form The Natural Sweetness Company (TNSC), which will be a sales and marketing joint venture owned equally by both parties.

TNSC will work on developing and marketing a range of products that combine the natural benefits of sugar and stevia to meet the food and beverage industries’ requirements for reduced calorie, sweet applications. The company will operate across British Sugar’s core territories of the UK, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, China and Africa.
